Stone Pillar TechnologiesTM is the leading provider of software tools supporting semiconductor process technology development. Stone Pillar's Stone Pillar Suite tools are used at leading semiconductor companies and research institutions worldwide to speed test chip creation, design rule generation, test plan creation, data analysis, and report generation. Stone Pillar Suite saves our customers engineering time, engineering capital, and improves tracebility and technology development processes.

Stone Pillar Technologies, Inc. was founded in 2000 and is privately held.

Our Market

Stone Pillar is focused on providing tools for semiconductor technology development. Our customers are companies involved directly in semiconductor technology development such as IDM's, foundries, fabless semiconductor companies who take an active participation in critical device design, and research institutions seeking to provide a good basis for students who will one day work for these companies.

By focusing on this area, we are able to provide unique capabilities that provide high value to our customers.

Management Team

Tim Crandle -- President

Tim Crandle joined Stone Pillar Technologies in 2002 and took on the responsibility of President in 2003. Prior to joining Stone Pillar, Tim served as president of Telelogic North America, a subsidiary of Telelogic AB, the leading provider of visual software development tools and requirements management tools. As President of Telelogic North America, Tim oversaw the growth of the company from startup to revenues in excess of $15M. Tim also worked in Technology CAD development and management roles with Silvaco and TMA.

Tim holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Lloyd Evans -- Founder and Vice President of Engineering

Since founding Stone Pillar Technologies in 2000, Lloyd Evans has been responsible for product development and has led our development team in advancing the Stone Pillar Suite product suite. He currently serves as Vice President of Engineering. Lloyd brings over 15 years of software and business development experience to Stone Pillar. Prior to founding Stone Pillar, he worked in senior software development and business development roles with Silvaco, Remedy, and Palm.

Lloyd has a BSc in Math and Computer Science from University of Southampton

Anthony Clark -- Founder and CTO

Since founding Stone Pillar Technologies in 2000, Tony Clark has led new product research and has been responsible for breakthrough product capabilities that are presently in use in the Stone Pillar Suite product suite. Tony brings over 17 years of experience in the fields of semiconductor technology development, software development, and Technology CAD. Prior to founding Stone Pillar, Tony worked in senior technical roles with Inmos and Silvaco.

Tony has a BSc in Applied Physics/Physical Electronics specialising in semiconductor physics and computer control.
